Zander Fam

Love, love, love this family. It all started when this beautiful couple was expecting their first...and now their first is 3 1/2! It floors me to see these pictures and see how much Miss Ava has grown. That's one of my favorite perks of this job...in a way I feel like I grow up with these families and their little ones. I get to see them at all their milestones which is so fun! And not to neglect the little brother who is sure to be a heartbreaker one day. This little guy has grown so much since his newborn shoot in October and was all smiles during the shoot. Always a pleasure, Zander family!!

Parker Family

I couldn't believe the last time I saw the Parker's was when Brooks was less than a year old. Now he's a running, talking little 2 1/2 year old and has an ADORABLE little sister Aubrey. It's always so sweet to see when kids love on their little siblings and Brooks was not shy to do just that. We had some of the extended family join us at the end which was so fun. I love seeing all the fun interactions with the different generations...there's always the fun uncle that can get the kids to laugh just when I need them to!

Coming out of hibernation...

I am ashamed that it's been almost 2 months since my last post.  Fall always gets a bit crazy with photo shoots and my husband's basketball schedule but usually I'm on top of things a bit more.  I'd blame it on pregnancy but my pregnancy has been a breeze so I'd just be lying!!  All to say...I am back and as spring is starting to appear around here I am hoping to come alive again as well!  I will be doing spring shoots as normal up until this little baby gets here in June.  So if you're interested in that let's make it happen!  

Needless to say I am waaay behind in my posting and I can't promise I'll get quite caught up but I figure what better way to start off the year than with some precious little newborn shoots I did back in December.  

This little guy belongs to some of our best friends up in Dallas.  I couldn't get up there fast enough once he was born to see him, hold him, and of course take his picture.  He is just perfect in every little way and has the greatest parents in the world.  I couldn't be happier for him and am so excited that our little peanut will one day be either this little guy's best friend or wife!  :)  Sorry Eli but your parents and I have already arranged it...

This was another newborn shoot I did at the beginning of December.  Little Louis came into the world all smiles and frowns!  We were quite amused by these serious faces he kept making when he was asleep.  Not sure what he was dreaming about but it was not a laughing matter...later on though he gave us a big smile...so sweet!  His big sister was so excited to have him around and insisted on being right by him for the shoot.  He didn't mind though!  

Garcia/Maxwell Family

I love big family shoots...grandparents, grandkids, sisters, brothers, spouses, the whole shebang.  It's so fun to get everyone together and usually it's a rare thing with everyone's different schedules so you can tell it's cherished time.  This family was so fun and easy going and everyone did a great job of making the others smile and laugh.  The sweetest thing was to see how much these cousins love each other.  They were inseparable the entire time and had so much fun being together.  So cute!

The Moores!!

I love this family so much!!  Our husbands used to work together and although they don't anymore, the Moores have become some of our best friends here in Austin.  And even better than that, they live across the street from us!  Could life get any better??  We frequent each other's houses, meet up for neighborhood walks, take spontaneous chicken visits and occasionally yell at each other across 2222.  It's pretty fantastic.  Watching McCrae grow up has also been so much fun because she is easily one of the cutest little girls I know.  She is so smart and says the funniest things.  She thinks her parents are just the cream of the crop and well, they pretty much are!  Love you, Moores!!

Props to Elizabeth for making this munchkin laugh.  She had big ole belly laughs and was holding her tummy and it was the cutest thing!!

First comes love..then comes marriage..

...then comes a baby!  Yep, next June there will be a little Liverman in the house and we are overjoyed!    I take so many pictures of other people's kids and now I can finally terrorize my own with a camera..poor kid.  My wonderful friend Elizabeth of The Sweet Light Photography took these Christmas card/'tell the world the news' pictures for us and it was so much fun.  As you can tell, we don't always take ourselves too seriously...

I LOVE this picture.  After we took a few pictures, Elizabeth looked at us and asked, "Um, is the sonogram upside down??"  Yep, sure is.  We are such rookies...

My husband is obviously really excited to be a dad...can't you tell??  He swears "there was a fly."  

Jacobs Family

It was so great to see the Jacobs family again this year. Last year little Ellie was just barely standing and now standing still is the last thing on her priority list. She loved running around on the huge Capitol lawn and would giggle uncontrollably as dad chased her around. Such a cutie!!
